As the foremost international event catering to professionals across various sectors—industry, education, diving centres, and enthusiasts—it holds paramount significance. It marked the inaugural presentation of AUVs to the diving community, and we were exhilarated by the overwhelming interest and enthusiasm our products received.

The U_Tracker has advanced to its fourth generation, featuring enhanced firmware and GUI software aimed at improving performance, navigation, and usability.

Edgelab had the privilege of participating in Seafuture 2023, the international fair showcasing the blue economy and technological innovation in the Defence sector. The event, held from June 5th to 8th at the Navy Arsenal in La Spezia, attracted over 300 companies and 73 foreign delegations.

Edgelab developed the USV_Cat, an autonomous catamaran designed for the INGV (National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology). It features two high-resolution cameras for inspection and navigation, along with a side scan sonar for mapping the seabed in shallow waters. This vehicle will facilitate the morphological mapping, monitoring of micro and macro plastics, investigate biological habitat and evaluation of erosion, landslides, and finally the underwater volcanic exhalative activity. The catamaran can be safely operated remotely.
